Jialin Yu

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Bath. I am also a Visiting Fellow at TVG and a Stipendiary Lecturer at St Catherine’s College, University of Oxford.

Previously, I was a postdoc at Oxford with Prof. Philip Torr and at UCL with Prof. Ricardo Silva. I was also a non-stipendiary Junior Research Fellow at Christ Church and earned my PhD at Durham under Prof. Alexandra Cristea. I co-organized workshops on Scaling Up Intervention Models at ICML 2025 and Scaling Environments for Agents at NeurIPS 2025.
